Debug Assistant
We are launching the Debug Assistant to help debug your solutions! This feature will assist you in identifying errors in your solutions and provide helpful hints and recommendations.
Using it is simple: after testing your submission, you’ll see a “Help Me” button above the testing results. Clicking it will prompt the Debug Assistant to analyze your submission, the testing data, the problem statement, and other relevant details to generate a hint for fixing your code. After receiving a hint, please provide feedback by clicking the thumbs-up or thumbs-down icon—this helps us improve the assistant and understand how useful the hints are.
Example hint
Currently, the assistant can debug submissions that result in Compilation Errors, Runtime Errors, or Wrong Answer verdicts, as long as the testing data is within a certain size limit. During this test phase, you can request up to 10 hints within a 24-hour period, though this limit may change.
Since this is a trial feature, we’re eager to see how it performs and gather feedback. It may be adjusted or removed based on results. We hope this feature makes debugging easier and enhances your overall experience!
